We didn’t lose our daughter, we gained an outstanding son-in-law.
My wife Judy and I were so excited, together with over two hundred guests, to witness the marriage of our darling daughter Brittany to her Prince Charming, Jordan Pousett, on August 26, 2012.
Despite what Ashley Freedman, Matron of Honour, may try to tell you, I didn’t shed a single tear! However, I did, somewhat unsuccessfully, try to induce Ashley to cry at the ceremony.
I could easily write over 12,000 words about the big day. Instead, I will share 12 photos that our family took (“a picture is worth a thousand words”).
I love my girls:
I might have a future as a bodyguard or in the secret service:
The entire wedding party was extraordinary:
Check out those shoes – no flip flops despite years of predictions to the contrary:
We are so blessed with awesome children:
Judy and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire day:
One of the highlights of the day for me personally, was walking my little princess (not so little anymore) down the aisle:
The ceremony was held in such a beautiful place:
At the end of the loving and God-honouring ceremony, it was time for the big introduction:
Waterfalls and ponds created a serene ambience for the ceremony:
Our daughter took our advice as she savoured and enjoyed every moment of their special day:
It was clearly the most special day and a highlight of our entire summer. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Jordan & Brittany Pousett on their recent marriage!
Do you like weddings? Have you been to any lately? What was your highlight this summer?
