Discovering Life, Learning and Leadership

Hi.  Welcome to Arthur’s Blog!

I am delighted that you are checking out my blog and I hope you find it interesting.  This blog is about Life, Learning and Leadership with some posts addressing Creation Technologies, where I have the pleasure of serving as President & CEO (the views and content presented herein are solely mine).  You should typically expect one to three posts a week.

Please browse my blog site to Meet Me, see my Life Vision, share in some Memories & Media, explore Travel Tracks, learn about Arthur’s Axioms, review Recommended Reads, surf Likeable Links or Contact Me.

In my role at Creation Technologies, I have been writing Arthur’s Updates which are emails to our entire Creation family.  To date, I have written 464 of these updates and for some time now several of our our team have been encouraging me to augment my Arthur’s Updates with a blog – so, here it is!

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said:

“Rings and jewels are not gifts, but apologies for gifts. The only true gift is a portion of thyself.”

My goal is to share a portion of myself with you through this blog and I invite you to participate by sharing your thoughts in the comment feature associated with each blog post.  My hope and prayer is that by sharing together, your life and the lives of others will be enriched.

I would like to acknowledge and extend my gratitude to all those who helped me with the launch of my blog, with special thanks to:

  • Robert W. White for his phenomenal work in designing and developing my blog site;
  • Jamie Delaine, my cousin’s daughter (she is technically my 2nd cousin but I have always thought of her as my niece), for the amazing way she openly shares her life through social-networking and on her creative blog (Jamie is an entrepreneur, an accomplished photographer and she inspired me with her great example);
  • My wife Judy for her ongoing support in so many wonderful ways;
  • My son Nathan for his technical support and enthusiastic encouragement;
  • Debbie Gillies and Janelle Urchenko, key members of our Creation Technologies leadership and marketing teams, for their vision to see me launch a blog; and
  • Several other members of our Creation family who have provided advice and support, including Joy Booker, Ras Contractor and Raegan Gibb.

It is a pleasure to share with you. Welcome!
